The EOS Project Science Office consists of the Senior Project Scientist as well as Project Scientists associated with the various EOS payloads and the EOS Data and Information System (EOSDIS). This office serves as the primary day-to-day interface between the Earth science community and the Earth-Sun System Program Office and EOS Projects at Goddard Space Flight Center, Langley Research Center, and Jet Propulsion Laboratory; and works to define and represent the EOS scientific requirements and to provide related scientific insight and guidance. The Senior Project Scientist works closely with the EOS personnel at NASA Headquarters to ensure that scientific and related programmatic requirements are appropriately implemented by the EOS Project.
